Petit four. This lovely little lead cube started out exactly 1" on edge, but after hammering it's a bit taller than it is wide. Doesn't it look good enough to eat? It reminds me of those little cakes you get at the better sort of party (i.e. the sort of party where they serve little cakes). I cast it out of scrap lead using a graphite cube mold, then hammered it with a dimpling hammer.
