Platinized titanium plating electrode. This is an electrode meant to deliver current to an electroplating bath. As far as I can tell "platinized titanium" in this context means simply platinum plated titanium. For electroplating use the ideal non-consumable electrode would be solid platinum, because it is the metal most resistant to oxidation under extreme chemical and electrical conditions. The small issue of its extremely high cost is the only reason people look for alternatives to solid platinum. Titanium is also a good, corrosion resistant metal, so it makes sense to plate platinum over it: Any small imperfections in the platinum coating will not lead to rapid failure as they would if the underlying metal were more vulnerable to breakdown.
