Silicon carbide owl. Silicon carbide is a very hard material often used in sandpaper and sharpening stones. This rather peculiar owl came from an eBay seller who said it was made at a carbide factory from leftover silicon carbide material. It seems they periodically make sculptures like this for fun. It is incredibly sparkly, and obviously abrasive, I'm sure you could sharpen knives on it.
