Brazil nuts.
Brazil nuts (which are not nuts and don't come primarily from Brazil) have an elemental peculiarity: There are extremely high in selenium, even when growing in soil that is not particularly rich in that element. It is said that a single Brazil nut gives you your daily requirement of selenium (which is admittedly pretty small).
